About The Dreamer
So lately I have been spending more time on this blog of mine. And in doing so it has gone through some major major re-organization. So I want to take some time to explain the new structure of ‘government’ that this regime will be introducing. Now I use to have four blogs and currently administrating another one (My sister’s Peace Corp Blog, check it out). And I use to also have a website but I will not worry about that any more. I got rid of all my blogs and imported all its content into this one. So nothing was lost. I hope to later be able to buy a domain name and consolidate the blog and website.
Anyway first I want to tell you what the old blogs and websites are about. This one, called The Dreamer (I have been changing the name a lot but I think this one will stick) is my personal blog and has just random stuff that I comment on. Its random but I hope its organized since it takes about anything of interest to me in the world. As having four blogs got too confusing the former blogs became pages in The Dreamer.
So to explain the main (parent) pages:
FireNation Studio (FNS) is a media company. It was created to stimulate social awareness by created socially conscious media (SCM). SCM is media that ask unconventional questions, explores unreported issues, and presents provocative points of view.
Revolution Now!is a production of FNS and is basically a combination of Saturday Night Live and Democracy Now! It tries to highlight the best and worst parts of our world in comical and insightful way. Hopefully we ignite peoples passion to go and do something about the issues we cover.
The Somali Prosperity Movement (SPM) is the campaign to free Somalia from violence, poverty, drugs, and guns.
Vermont Edition referrers to general subjects or commentary of the great state of Vermont, of where I live. It can be anything about of related to Vermont.
Movies page is about watching full movies mostly online. It also contains suggestion for some movies and reviews.
Television Programs are made in the same manner as Movies. It is a list of some of the tv shows that I have watched. I am trying to limit it to just the ones that I recommend to watch and not just the ones I have seen.
Topics can fall in the categories of:
The Environment:
- My opinions and insight into how I see the outside environment. more or less a collection of ideas of how we as people should and do relate to “nature”; the all powerful system of natural law.
- These discussions include topics such as alternative energy, organic farming, and land conservation.
Somalia:
- Being that it is my country of birth and my personal chosen nationality, I tend to talk about Somalia quite often. Whether it be its history, culture, society in general, or most importantly its prospect for the future.
Travel:
- I like to travel but I don’t like to travel like a tourist. And I can’t really talk about places from the perspective of say a journalist and as I just said I hate being a tourist so I am not gonna talk about that. So mostly this sections are ideas or opinions that arise or involve the places I visit.
World Geopolitical Dynamics:
- Probably the most complicated category of all. This just basically all about the political and social crap that we get ourselves into in an international perspective. Although much of it has to do with US domestic and foreign policy.
Creative Works:
- These are creative stories or poems. They do not include persuasive essays or how to. These are imaginative stories that have some message behind it. They are stories, poems, commentaries, and such on any prevalent or random world event and issue.
myJournal:
- This is the section that I rabble about anything that actually happens to me. I tend to get ideas out of the blue so I can’t tell what they will be like. And if I talk about my feelings (god hope not) I won’t be able to make sense of them.
Kingdom of the Wise:
- This is a general section for things that have to do with culture. That is how we act and why we do things a certain way when other ways are probably better and wiser.
